Women are a driving force in hospitality, and investing in their growth and success has always been central to Hilton’s culture. The company has been named the World's Best Workplace and the No. 1 Best Workplace in Asia by Great Place to Work and Fortune, and its commitment to fostering workplaces where everyone can thrive continues to deepen.

This year, Hilton was named the No. 1 Best Workplace for Women in Japan for the first time and recognized among Australia's Best Workplaces for Women. In Greater China, Hilton earned the distinction for the seventh consecutive year and is the only hotel company to have been named every year since the list was established.

“In an industry where women make up so much of the workforce, it is crucial to build environments where they feel seen, supported and empowered at every stage of their careers,” said Patsy Ng, senior vice president, human resources, Asia Pacific, Hilton. “These recognitions are especially meaningful because they reflect the experiences of our team members and the inclusive culture we are building together. We are proud of the progress we have made and remain focused on listening closely and creating more opportunities for women to thrive and lead in the World’s Best Workplace.”

Across the Asia-Pacific region, that commitment takes shape through leadership development and mentorship programs, flexible working arrangements for mothers and caregivers, and initiatives that support team members at every stage of their personal and professional journey. Meanwhile, Hilton’s Women’s Team Member Resource Group brings together team members at different life stages to promote allyship, inspire growth, demonstrate career possibilities and create a support network.

Hilton recognized as a Great Place to Work for Women in Greater China since 2019

In Greater China, where Hilton has been recognized as a Great Place to Work for Women every year since 2019, the numbers tell a clear story. Nearly 3,000 women have participated in leadership development programs since 2022, accounting for close to 60% of total enrolment.

Beyond formal programs, team members play an active role as champions of creating a more inclusive culture for all. Team members led a year-long series of initiatives in 2025 focused on well-being, career development and community connection, reaching more than 100 hotels and 12,000 team members. The same year, Hilton launched a dedicated women’s health section on its internal wellness platform, providing access to professional resources to support women navigating different life stages.

In Japan, Hilton earned the No. 1 ranking for the first time, with the recognition highlighting the company's comprehensive benefits for women, its stable employment environment and a workplace culture that celebrates mutual growth. This also marks the second consecutive year Hilton has been named the highest-ranked hospitality company on the list.

To support the professional advancement of its team members, Hilton invests in its Hilton University e-learning platform, expanded mentorship programs, and flexible working arrangements that accommodate life stages such as childcare and caregiving. During Women's History Month, team members and leaders engaged in one-on-one career conversations between emerging women leaders and senior leadership, as well as a fireside chat exploring how women can thrive across cultural barriers in hospitality.

In Australia, Hilton’s recognition reflects a long-standing commitment to creating an inclusive culture for all.  That investment extends into the wider community. Through partnerships with educational institutions, Hilton is creating opportunities for young women to see themselves in hospitality leadership. In one such initiative, Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street hosted students from Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School for a session where Hilton's leaders shared their career journeys and insights on leading through uncertainty, while students took on a hands-on GM-for-a-day challenge.

These collective wins reflect the dedication and efforts of team members and leaders shaping more inclusive workplaces across Asia Pacific.
