SINGAPORE – Hilton (NYSE: HLT) has joined the global Hidden Disabilities Sunflower network in Singapore, a globally recognized symbol that helps make the invisible visible by supporting people with non‑visible disabilities. As a Sunflower member, Hilton is reinforcing its commitment to inclusivity, ensuring that all guests, including those with hidden disabilities can receive the support and understanding they need throughout their stay.
All four Hilton properties in Singapore, including Conrad Singapore Marina Bay, Conrad Singapore Orchard, Hilton Singapore Orchard, and Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon, are now accredited. Team members across these properties have completed specialized training to recognize the Sunflower symbol and proactively support guests with non-visible disabilities, such as autism, chronic pain or sensory sensitivities.

“At Hilton, our hospitality is rooted in a culture of belonging where we want every guest to feel they can show up as their authentic self. We recognize that for many, travel can be challenging when their needs aren't immediately obvious," said Alexandra Murray, area vice president and regional head of South East Asia, Hilton. “By launching the Sunflower program in Singapore, we are empowering our teams to lead the way in inclusive care. This is a meaningful step in our journey to ensure the light and warmth of hospitality are accessible to everyone, regardless of their needs.”
The Sunflower symbol, typically worn as a lanyard, badge, or displayed on a vehicle, signals that a guest may have a non‑visible disability and may require a little extra time or assistance. Guests can also carry a card explaining their specific needs, allowing hotels’ team members to provide tailored care. To further bridge the gap, some team members may wear Sunflower pins to identify themselves as trained allies, making the travel experience more comfortable and seamless.

“We are thrilled to welcome all Hilton properties in Singapore to the global Hidden Disabilities Sunflower network,” said Paul White, CEO, Hidden Disabilities Sunflower. “Individuals with non-visible disabilities have diverse needs, and Hilton is setting a new benchmark for inclusive hospitality by implementing the program in Singapore. This commitment ensures that individuals with non-visible disabilities feel seen, supported, and welcomed from the moment they check in.”
