SINGAPORE – As families across Asia Pacific prepare to reunite around the table this Lunar New Year, Hilton unveils Kitchen Kinship, a regional initiative that celebrates connection and the joy of shared dining. This time of year, menus are designed to take on a communal format, with dishes that honour the season’s rich festive traditions and the coming together of loved ones.
Available across select Hilton properties in Southeast Asia, Kitchen Kinship will be brought to life at Conrad Bangkok, Conrad Manila, Conrad Singapore Marina Bay, Conrad Singapore Orchard, Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Hilton Petaling Jaya, and La Festa Phu Quoc, Curio Collection by Hilton, with each hotel interpreting the campaign through its unique lens. While the campaign launches during a period traditionally associated with family gatherings across Asia Pacific, Kitchen Kinship is shaped by the expanding appeal of multi-generational travel, where families seek destinations and experiences that allow them to reconnect meaningfully.
This initiative is underscored by insights from Hilton’s 2026 Trends Report, which highlights the rise of “generation permutations” - expanded family structures where grandparents, parents, children and other family members travel and dine together. In response, guests are gravitating toward experiences that feel inclusive, flexible and emotionally resonant, with shared meals emerging as a powerful anchor of connection. Across Asia Pacific, spending time with family now outweighs personal relaxation as the top holiday priority, with six in 10 travellers (61%) saying quality time matters more than downtime. When it comes to activities, culinary exploration leads the way (69%), reflecting families’ desire for stays that inspire discovery, learning and meaningful connection. This preference is especially pronounced in Singapore, where more than eight in 10 families (81%) cite food-led experiences as their top family activity - a nod to the city-state’s vibrant and celebrated dining culture.
At the heart of Kitchen Kinship is a simple yet powerful idea: the table as a place of togetherness. Participating Hilton hotels will offer menus and dining experiences designed for sharing, reinforcing the role of food as a connector across generations, traditions and cultures.
At Conrad Bangkok’s Liu Restaurant, Kitchen Kinship takes shape through tiered family-style set menus designed for gatherings of varying sizes (four to 10 guests), alongside an all-you-can-eat dim sum lunch. Conrad Manila’s China Blue by Jereme Leung brings families together through generous reunion menus and banquet-style dining rooted in culinary heritage and tradition. At Conrad Singapore Marina Bay, the initiative is expressed through refined Cantonese highlights at Golden Peony, including a whole celebratory roasted suckling pig, while Conrad Singapore Orchard’s Summer Palace showcases Michelin-starred Cantonese craftsmanship through festive dishes designed for corporate entertaining and family celebrations alike.
Hilton Kuala Lumpur’s Chynna brings a delicate expression of Kitchen Kinship through modern Cantonese and Shanghainese cuisine led by Celebrity Chef Lam Hock Hin, complemented by Hilton Petaling Jaya’s Toh Yuen Chinese Restaurant, which blends authentic Cantonese flavours with contemporary presentation. Completing the regional picture, La Festa Phu Quoc’s Seta presents an intimate iteration of Kitchen Kinship through contemporary Cantonese dining served in a refined, design-led setting inspired by Italian charm.
Through Kitchen Kinship, Hilton continues to strengthen its position as a hospitality leader that understands the emotional role food plays in travel - not just as sustenance, but as a way to connect people, cultures and generations.
Kitchen Kinship runs from 2 February to 15 March 2026 across participating properties.
