Hilton Collaborates with Panda Creation to Launch Summer Family Campaign Together with Giant Panda Hua Hua

CHENGDU, China – Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the launch of its 2025 summer family campaign in collaboration with the Panda Creation. Meanwhile, the national treasure and beloved giant panda He Hua (whose nickname is Hua Hua) has been named Hilton’s inaugural “Pamper You” Stay Experience Ambassador. At participating Hilton hotels across China, the campaign will deliver playful, heartfelt experiences designed to inspire multigenerational family travel filled with warmth and delight.

Every summer, Hilton curates family-focused experiences tailored to the evolving needs of travelers. This year’s family campaign is ​centered on care for all family members — from children and seniors to beloved pets — and is promoting meaningful intergenerational moments through a range of personalized offerings at select Hilton properties. 

As the first-ever “Pamper You” Stay Experience Ambassador, giant panda Hua Hua, born and raised at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, has become a cultural icon with wide generational appeal. Her endearing presence resonates with guests of all ages, making her a perfect ambassador for this summer’s family journey. Through this collaboration, Hilton aims to bring joyful travel experiences to life, enriching family vacations with creativity, connection, and emotional resonance.

Hua Hua-Inspired Experiences Spark Delight

In Sichuan and Chongqing, select hotels will unveil limited-edition Hua Hua-themed guest rooms featuring customized amenities — from slippers, toiletries, bathrobes and bedding to a children's play tent — all designed with Hua Hua’s lovable image. This will offer guests a charming and memorable way to connect with the mascot at the heart of the campaign[2]. Adding to the excitement, Hilton has launched a limited “Pamper You” Stay Experience Ambassador blind box collection, creatively reimagining Hua Hua in whimsical hotel roles that celebrate the warmth of Hilton service: from Hua Hua in a signature blue uniform greeting guests with a warm smile, to Hua Hua holding a phone and handling guests’ needs with care, Hua Hua donning a chef’s hat while preparing bamboo delights, and Hua Hua energetically pushing a pet luggage cart. Two guest-inspired versions will add even more fun: Vacation Hua Hua lounging on a suitcase in sunglasses and playing with bamboo, along with Bath Time Hua Hua soaking in a tub with a pink shower cap and rubber duck — a picture of holiday bliss.

Hilton hotels across China are now rolling out a special series of digital keys interfaces featuring the themed adorable panda Hua Hua. Through August 31, guests who use the Hua Hua digital key interfaces during stays can redeem for the limited-edition blind box as a journey keepsake. Additionally, select hotel restaurants will debut Hua Hua-themed dishes, including creatively shaped steamed triangle buns, adding extra surprise and delight to family mealtimes.
Notably, Hilton Honors members can redeem points to bid for a tailor-made visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. The experience will include expert-guided tours and a close-up look at the daily life of the giant panda, enhancing family exploration with emotional resonance through immersive interaction.
