Hilton Expands its India Portfolio with the Signing of its Flagship Brand, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, in Gurugram

Hilton Gurugram Baani City Center is set to open in Q4 of 2024, marking Hilton's 27th hotel in India and its second collaboration with the Baani Group.

NATIONAL, India – Hilton (NYSE: HLT) announced today the signing of its flagship Hilton brand in Gurugram, a pivotal city in India’s National Capital Region (NCR) with a population of 1.5 million. Hilton will develop the all-new Hilton Gurugram Baani City Center with Baani Group, which owns DoubleTree by Hilton Gurgaon Baani Square. The property is currently under construction and is set to open its doors later in 2024, marking yet another strategic addition for Hilton as it expands its presence in key gateway cities across India. 

Sitting within Gurugram’s leading IT and financial hubs, the property will be located strategically along Golf Course Extension Road, close to key business districts, high street entertainment centres and upscale residential and commercial developments. When open, Hilton Gurugram Baani City Center is set to contribute to the destination’s vibrant ecosystem, and cater seamlessly to business and leisure travellers alike.

Hilton Gurugram Baani City Center will feature 223 rooms that range from king rooms to spacious suites. The property will also offer more than 15,000 square feet of meetings and events spaces to accommodate a wide range of wedding functions, corporate and social gatherings. It will feature four F&B outlets, including an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant, a sophisticated lobby bar and an elegant café lounge. Facilities also include an inviting outdoor pool, and well-equipped business and fitness centres.

With 26 trading hotels in India today and 22 more in the pipeline, Hilton is on course to triple its India estate to 75 hotels in the coming years. This robust growth reflects Hilton's commitment to establishing a formidable presence in the region, reaffirming its position as a leader in the dynamic Indian hospitality market.
