Andrew is a passionate and visionary brand leader responsible for the company’s Lifestyle Brands in Asia Pacific. He plays a pivotal role in shaping the landscape of lifestyle hotel experiences in the region, and setting new standards for the guest experience across Hilton’s portfolio of brands.
Andrew oversees six lifestyle brands: Canopy, Tempo, Motto, Curio Collection, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Graduate. Canopy, Tempo, and Motto by Hilton are brands that blend contemporary flair with immersive, trend-forward experiences, each inspired by a different modern lifestyle. Curio Collection and Tapestry Collection are portfolios of one-of-a-kind hotels each inspired by their own story, providing the experience of an independent hotel backed by the reliability and benefits of Hilton Honors. Andrew is responsible for regionalizing these brands to ignite excitement and passion in consumers and hotel investors in Asia Pacific. He works collaboratively with hotel teams to bring these brands to life and create compelling hotel environments that entice travellers and locals alike.
In a prior role at Hilton, Andrew focused on developing the strategy and infrastructure for Hilton to grow its hotel franchising business in Asia Pacific. Prior to Hilton, Andrew spent a decade at McKinsey & Company in New York City. As a management consultant, Andrew led projects in the travel and financial services sectors. Andrew has a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts and Science from McGill University, in Montreal, Canada.
Andrew is motivated by cultivating a dynamic and inclusive workplace culture and fostering a cohesive team environment. Beyond his professional endeavours, Andrew finds joy in exploring new cultures and cuisines, which serves as an inspiration for his commitment to creating memorable experiences for guests.
Andrew traces his family’s roots to Malaysia and today calls Singapore home. Prior to Singapore and New York, Andrew lived in Canada.
