As the Brand Leader of Tru by Hilton, Andrew Harp oversees the fastest hotel brand to launch in industry history. In his role, Andrew is responsible for Tru by Hilton’s brand strategy, driving growth and development, building and sustaining guest loyalty as well as overall performance and brand culture.
Prior to this role, Harp served as Senior Director for Tru and Dual Brand Management, where he worked with the Development, AD&C, Openings, QA and BPS teams as the strategy lead to support over 100 open dual brand locations with more than an additional 100 dual brand pipeline locations planned. Harp also served in a variety of roles across the All Suites & Focused Service category including several Strategy, Planning and Analysis roles to support category initiatives globally. Additionally, Harp was previously a member of the Owner Relations team directly supporting Hampton owners and above property management company representatives to drive performance of their assets and ensure Hilton was the franchisor of choice. Previously, Harp helped launch the Hilton Millennial Team Member Resource Group for the Memphis campus, and oversaw its Community Relations efforts.
Harp is a seasoned hospitality leader with nearly 20 years of experience, starting his career with ONIX Hospitality, a hotel owner and operator in the Mid-Atlantic Region where he oversaw the Operations, Revenue Management and Sales & Marketing of a six-hotel portfolio working with Hilton, Marriott and Choice brands. During his time with ONIX, Harp helped open three hotels including two Hampton by Hilton properties.
He graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance and graduated from the University of West Chester Pennsylvania with an MBA.
