Dino Michael leads Hilton Luxury Brands as Senior Vice President and Global Category Head, overseeing the strategic growth, brand positioning and leadership initiatives across Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, LXR Hotels & Resorts and Conrad Hotels & Resorts.
Over the next ten years, he will be responsible for integrating nearly 50 pipeline properties into the luxury portfolio, collaborating closely with hotel operation teams, developing brand training and culture and leading global marketing initiatives.
Before being appointed Category Head, Michael served as Global Brand Head for Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Hilton’s iconic luxury brand, a role he held from 2018-2022. Prior to that, he oversaw global brand development as Vice President for Hilton’s luxury portfolio to drive the expansion of the brands’ international footprint by ensuring the solid growth of strong relationships between owners, brand and operations.
He previously spearheaded global Food & Beverage operations, where he led new initiatives and was responsible for developing Hilton’s full-service and luxury brands’ restaurants and bars. During this time, he and his team developed integral, third-party relationships with world-renowned chefs and restaurateurs, growing the luxury groups’ portfolio of successful partners.
Michael brings over two decades of experience to the hospitality industry, having held senior positions across several high-profile venues in the United Kingdom, including branded operations, hotel groups and fine dining venues. His experience includes working with Accor and Guoman Hotels, internationally established brands such as Caprice Holdings, Giraffe Concepts and being an independent consultant for various clients.
Born in Great Britain, Michael holds an LL.B. from The University of Law London Bloomsbury and is married with three children.
