Every year, millions of children around the world eagerly await the arrival of Santa and his sleigh, hopeful that all their Christmas wishes will come true. This year at some sunnier Hilton properties, Santa Claus will make stylish arrivals befitting of the hotel’s climate — all to hear the Christmas wishes of good girls and boys.
Here’s a peek at some of Santa’s more adventurous stops around the globe.
Dec. 24
Making a Jolly Jet-Ski Arrival at Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino
Santa Claus will arrive at Candy Cane Beach Lane at Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino via jet ski on Christmas Eve, no reindeer needed! Special holiday programming will include a Frosty the Sandman sand sculpting competition complete with a kit that includes starfishes, sunglasses, fedoras and driftwood to inspire creativity. Arriving by Outrigger Canoe to Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort
Saint Nick will drop by Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort on Dec. 24 by traditional Hawaiian outrigger canoe. The resort has long been known for its décor and this year, the hotel’s onsite chapel and both will be dressed in merry white, silver, and gold.
Dec. 25
Parading with Performers into Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal
In Los Cabos, Mexico, Santa will arrive by carriage in the Baja California peninsula at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal on Dec. 25. His festive escort will be led by a mariachi band and by traditional dancers that perform Jarabe Tapatío. Following his arrival, guests can enjoy pinata-breaking by the hotel’s palapa and say hello to Santa Claus.
Santa Swoops into Key Largo Via Parasail
This Christmas morning, Santa will glide in by parasail at Baker’s Cay Resort Key Largo, Curio Collection by Hilton and land on the dock with his bursting bag of small toys and Baker’s Cay goodies. He’ll hand out gifts to families and a photographer will be on hand to capture the magic. Afterward, Santa will tour the resort to greet guests at breakfast and then take a whirl around the resort by bike.
Santa Claus Sails into the Maldives
Santa and his sack full of goodies will arrive by sea at Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi on Dec. 25. The resort will also host a Caribbean Carnival celebration for New Year’s Eve that will include holiday movies under the stars, sunset parties, sommelier accompanied dinners, live entertainment, and more.
Dec. 26
Santa’s Christmas Vacation Kickoff in Orlando
At Hilton Orlando, Santa will kick off his winter vacation on Dec. 26 on an innertube as he enjoys the resort’s 892-foot-long winding lazy river, followed by a poolside party. Additional experiences for families will include gingerbread house decorating, Santa scavenger hunts, and more culminated by Santa's Kickoff to Vacation poolside party.
