The inaugural grand opening of Hilton’s first-ever premium economy brand took place in early October at Spark by Hilton Mystic Groton. Nestled in the historic maritime town, just off I-95, this 120-room pet-friendly hotel offers an array of complimentary amenities for the value-conscious traveler, including free parking, free Wi-Fi, free breakfast and a seasonal outdoor pool.
Weeks later, Hilton welcomed its second Spark by Hilton hotel, Spark by Hilton Germantown Washington DC North, which opened its doors on Oct. 30 in Germantown, Maryland, just off of I-270 and 45 minutes outside of Washington, D.C. Neighboring The Highlands at Germantown Event and Meeting Center and within minutes of Maryland SoccerPlex and Clarksburg Premium Outlets, the pet-friendly hotel with 176 comfortable and relaxing guest rooms also offers travelers free breakfast along with a 24-hour fitness center.
The third property, Spark by Hilton Sarasota Siesta Key Gateway, opened its doors to guests visiting the Florida Gulf Coast on Nov. 16, ahead of winter’s rush of vacationers to the Sunshine State. Located near Siesta Key Beach, Palm Arcade, Sarasota Pavilion, Skiers Island and Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, guests of the property enjoy a complimentary beach shuttle and outdoor pool.
Now, as the year draws to a close, Spark by Hilton Hilton Head Island joined the family. Less than a mile from the beach, the property boasts a fitness center and outdoor swimming pool and is surrounded by shopping, dining, golf and nature trails.
