MCLEAN, Va. - As Hilton prepares to celebrate its milestone 100th anniversary tomorrow, the world’s first global hotel company brought its renowned hospitality to the live in-studio audience at Good Morning America (GMA).
Earlier today, during the 8 a.m. EDT hour of GMA, Chris Nassetta, president & CEO of Hilton surprised and delighted audience members with a weekend getaway to any Hilton property of their choice. In addition, all audience members received upgrades to Gold status in the Hilton Honors loyalty program, which allows them to earn future nights and perks faster.
The segment emphasized Hilton’s recent grassroots service initiative called “Random Acts of Hospitality.” Team Members throughout Hilton locations around the world are conducting meaningful, simple gestures for others that extend Hilton’s hospitality beyond the doors of its hotels and into local communities.
As part of the segment, Hilton surprised audience member Liza Magill, a community leader who has dedicated much of her life to philanthropic endeavors, with the vacation of a lifetime in recognition of her meaningful charitable work. Magill and a guest of her choice received a 7-day/6-night trip to any destination, with more than 5,700 Hilton properties and 17 brands to choose from around the world.
