Glen Traille

Meet Glen Traille, who’s been a part of the Hilton family for over two decades

Hilton London Hyde Park is one of Hilton’s most historical properties. Held up as a first-class example of Edwardian architecture, with amazing stained-glass window features throughout, the hotel was originally built in 1907 as the Coburg Court Hotel. Among its many claims to fame is its use as a filming location in the Alfred Hitchcock movie, Frenzy. The hotel has been part of Hilton since the late 1990s and Team Member Glen Traille has been an integral part of the hotel since the very beginning.

Glen joined the Hilton family in 1999. Originally working in the housekeeping department, Glen has progressed his career over the years, first moving on from housekeeping to become a painter for a few years before ultimately joining the hotel’s engineering team, where he’s been for the last 15 years.

Glen is one of the hotel’s unsung heroes – working diligently and going above and beyond to ensure each guest is comfortable and keeping the hotel’s facilities in good working order. Over the years Glen has even been able to make lasting and personal connections with long time hotel guests. When asked why he’s stayed with Hilton for over two decades, his answer is simple ‘the great culture of course.’

Watch this recent video created by Hilton London Hyde Park to showcase the hotel’s amazing history and learn more about Glen and his passion for making guests feel special through personal touches.
