“Weekend Like a Local” Package features up to 50 percent off Sunday night stays and exclusive deals with Washington‑area partners

MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced its “Weekend Like a Local” Package, encouraging visitors to explore the Mid-Atlantic region in the new year. The package is available at 68 participating hotels in DC, Southern Maryland and Northern Virginia, and offers guests up to 50 percent off Sunday night stays. Unique to Hilton are deals from regional partners, creating a memorable long weekend for leisure travelers during their stay in and around the nation’s capital. Guests who book at participating hotels will receive discounts from now through the end of March 2019 at outstanding local restaurants, great for all ages. And what better way to spend Martin Luther King Jr. Day or Presidents Day than among the monuments honoring them?

Guests who book the package can look forward to spending their weekend sampling featured items from local culinary favorites at Neighborhood Restaurant Group, including select complimentary brunch cocktails and buttermilk biscuits at Columbia Firehouse in Alexandria, Va., a gracious welcome cocktail and chef’s special zucchini bread at Hazel Restaurant in DC and an introduction to some of the area’s top craft beers with a beer tasting trio and Bavarian pretzel at Bethesda’s Owen’s Ordinary. Travelers will also enjoy 25 percent off at Buzz Bakeshop and Planet Wine locations.

Matchbox Vintage Pizza Bistro invites Hilton guests to enjoy exclusive three-course prix fixe lunch and dinner menus available at all eight area locations.
