MCLEAN, Va. - Canopy by Hilton, Hilton’s (NYSE: HLT) lifestyle hotel brand, today announced the addition of Canopy by Hilton Philadelphia | Center City. The 236-room hotel will open this spring at 1180 Ludlow Street as part of the East Market development in Center City.

Locally Inspired Design
Canopy Philadelphia is designed by BLT Architects and developed as an adaptive reuse of the historic Stephen Girard Building. Its design will pay homage to the rich history of the city while infusing a hip, modern look and feel.

The hotel will feature a signature restaurant — an American brasserie with French influence — and a sophisticated bar program. Guests will also enjoy the signature Canopy welcome gift and evening tastings, which showcase local drinks and bites.

Located in the East Market neighborhood of Center City, Canopy Philadelphia is conveniently situated between the city’s historic and business districts and is in close proximity to popular destinations such as the Liberty Bell, National Constitution Center, Reading Terminal Market, Philadelphia Fashion District and the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
