LONDON - Conrad London St. James has created a family staycation experience that enables families to spend half-term together for a more relaxed, exciting and safe stay in the heart of the city.

Upon arrival at the hotel, children will be greeted with a VIP sticker and wristband to welcome them into the Conrad family, allowing them to order a milkshake, ice cream or juice free of charge in Blue Boar Bar.
The adventure truly begins when going up to the family suite, where a luxury teepee awaits to be explored. Armed with a book or toy of their choice, a torch and the hotel’s fluffy mascot Monty the Bulldog, kids get to explore luxury glamping within the comfort of the bedroom.
Located within walking distance of St James’s Park and some of the city’s most famous attractions, families are spoilt for choice of what to explore first. Whether to feed the ducks in the park, take a stroll towards the London Eye and Aquarium or taking a riverboat cruise on the River Thames, an eventful afternoon is guaranteed.
After a fun-filled day of exploring, it is time for movie night in children-sized mini bathrobes and slippers. A delicious movie night snack tray from the pastry kitchen will be delivered to the suite for families to devour during an in-room cinema experience.
To make sure the stay remains hassle-free, families are hosted in one of 12 interconnecting rooms at the luxury hotel so that parents are safe in the knowledge that their little ones are only next door and that they can check on them with ease. For those staying in a spacious Executive room, or above, an extra bed can be added. All rooms include small dressing gowns and child-friendly bathroom toiletries so that kids can enjoy a truly relaxing stay.
Conrad London St. James is working in partnership with The Detective Project – a children’s activity company themed around the science of crime-solving. Run by former Scotland Yard trained detectives and Metropolitan police officers, children will learn skills such as chromatography and fingerprint testing, in a dedicated crime investigation room at the hotel, whilst kitted out in forensic suits which can be taken home afterward.
Thames Rib Experience
To explore the city by boat, Conrad London St. James has partnered with the Thames Rib Experience for families to admire the London landmarks from the River Thames in a high-speed adventurous tour. Starting from Embankment, cruise past the London Eye, HMS Belfast, St Paul’s and the Tower of London in a private boat just for the family.

Mini Detective Experience: The overnight stay rate including breakfast for the ‘Mini-Detective’ family experience is starting from £576 for a family of three and from £648 for a family of four. The minimum age required is 7 years old and the experience is bookable via www.conradhotels.com/london.
Thames Rib Experience: The speed boat experience can be booked through the hotel’s concierge team with 24h advance notice. Rates for the experience are starting from £470 per boat taking you from Embankment pier to Canary Wharf and back.
