Embassy Suites by Hilton Crystal City National Airport Appoints Joseph Cardone as General Manager

CRYSTAL CITY, Va. - Embassy Suites by Hilton Crystal City National Airport recently announced the appointment of the hotel’s new general manager, Joseph Cardone. Embassy Suites by Hilton is a global brand of upscale, all-suite hotels from Hilton (NYSE: HLT). Most recently, Cardone served as general manager at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Washington DC – Crystal City

In his new role, Cardone is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the 269 all-suite property, including guest services, hotel administration and marketing efforts. 

A 30-year hospitality veteran, Cardone brings a wealth of operations and event experience to his new role at Embassy Suites by Hilton Crystal City National Airport. Prior to his former position at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Washington DC – Crystal City, Cardone was the hotel manager at Hilton Orlando. Throughout his career, he’s held various positions ranging from director of catering services and director of event operations to director of room operations and resident manager at New York Marriott Marquis, Waldorf Astoria New York, Washington Marriott Wardman Park, Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott Solana, The Mayflower Hotel and Orlando World Center Marriott. 

Cardone holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Connecticut University.
