Hilton wins hospitality marketing award for setting the standard for All‑Inclusive

MCLEAN, Va. – Hilton All-Inclusive Resorts received a Gold award for Hospitality in Travel Weekly’s 2022 Magellan Awards. With entries from around the world, the awards recognize the best in the travel industry and salute the outstanding hospitality professionals behind it all.

The Magellan Awards are judged by a one-of-a-kind panel of accomplished leaders in the travel industry. The awards honor outstanding design, marketing and services in a broad range of industry segments, including Hospitality, Travel Destinations, Cruise Lines, Online Travel Services, Airlines and Airports, Travel Agents and Agencies, Tour Operators and Ground Transportation.

“It’s an honor for Hilton to be recognized for its all-inclusive category in this year’s Magellan Awards. Since entering the category, Hilton has worked to redefine the all-inclusive travel experience with unparalleled service and unrivaled options for travelers to escape the everyday in highly coveted vacation destinations,” said Colette Baruth, vice president and commercial director, All-Inclusive, Hilton. “This recognition is a testament not only to our commitment to world-renowned friendly and reliable hospitality, but the team’s efforts in driving awareness for our growing, exceptional all-inclusive category.”

Hilton’s winning entry, “Delivering the Extraordinary: Hilton Sets New Standards for All-Inclusive,” received gold for its Hospitality Marketing Campaign – Communications/PR Plan. The plan featured a strong, comprehensive narrative around Hilton innovating and expanding in the all-inclusive category and included national broadcast segments, grand opening events, strategic media efforts and ongoing storytelling that leveraged new properties, milestones and timely news hooks to drive awareness for Hilton’s growth within the segment.

“Each year’s Magellan entries are an impressive display of innovation and creativity in the industry, and this year’s were particularly special. It’s a testament to the incredible work done over the last year, and a collective desire to not only meet today’s consumer expectations, but exceed them,” said Arnie Weissmann, editor in chief, Travel Weekly. “We salute all those who entered and all those who won.”
