Worried About Keeping Your New Year’s Resolution While Traveling? Hilton Honors is Here to Help

As we look ahead to early 2022, healthy eating — the No. 1 New Year’s resolution year after year — will be top of mind and a priority for many. Even while traveling, people expect restaurant menus to offer items that fit into their dietary needs and preferences.

To lend some inspiration for healthy eating on the road, we handpicked wholesome dishes from nine Hilton hotels across the country to whet the appetite of health-minded travelers everywhere. Whether you can’t leave your room without breakfast and coffee or want to relax with a refreshing beverage at the hotel bar after a day of exploring, your taste buds will thank you for sampling these meals and snacks.

Better yet, to offer frequent travelers even more flexibility, Hilton Honors Gold and Diamond members can use their complimentary Daily Food & Beverage (F&B) Credit in the U.S. to enhance their dining experience as they wish, every day of their stay.

Savory breakfast fans have a few good reasons to rise and shine at Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort and Spa. Not only does restaurant The Deck at 560 boast stunning Gulf views, but their Multigrain Avocado Toast with Lime ($10) is a yummy way to start the day.

If you prefer a sweeter morning meal, the Smoothie Bowl ($9) at Hilton Garden Inn Asheville Downtown’s restaurant Pillar will ward off yawns in no time. The strawberry and blueberry smoothie is topped with shredded coconut, granola, acai and seasonal fresh fruit. Similarly, the Conrad New York Downtown has a Rise & Shine Parfait ($15) at Atrio, which is made with house-made granola, seasonal fruit and berries and low-fat Greek yogurt scented with mint.

Head to the rooftop of The Waters Hot Springs, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and you’ll have more than a premium view. Create your own happy hour every evening at the Rooftop Bar with an Anti-Pasta Martini ($15). It’s not a cocktail but a creative offering of marinated Mozzarella pearls, olives, Genoa salami, peppadews, olive oil and fresh herbs.

If you’re California dreaming, The Waterfront Beach Resort, A Hilton Hotel is across the street from the sand and surf of Huntington Beach. Cozy up to the bar at The Boardwalk Restaurant for a pre-dinner glass of house wine ($12-$14) and an order of Shishito Peppers ($12), garnished with sweet Thai chili and toasted peanuts.

Take in Scottsdale’s rocky desert landscape at Boulders Resort & Spa Scottsdale, Curio Collection by Hilton’s Grill Kitchen Deck & Bar. The restaurant offers gorgeous views and southwestern fare like Smoked Brisket Chili ($12) topped with cheddar cheese, diced onion and sour cream.

Sweeping Utah scenery awaits at Waldorf Astoria Park City, where you can venture into town or simply relax in the hot tub or by the fire pit. The resort’s Powder Restaurant offers a fresh Heirloom Tomato & Chicken Wrap ($22) with kalamata olives, applewood bacon, caramelized onions and a lemon parmesan dressing.

If you love Texas’ vibrant capital, book a stay at Downtown’s Hilton Austin. When you need a break from barbecue and breakfast tacos, order the Beet + Goat Cheese Salad ($14.75) at Cannon + Belle, which is topped with local beets, Texas radish, crumbled goat cheese and house-made smoked pecan vinaigrette.

Miami has no shortage of vibrant cultures, and Greek food is one of the many abundant cuisines you’ll find in South Florida. At Hilton Bentley Miami/South Beach, on-site restaurant Santorini by Georgios serves a fantastic Falafel Wrap ($15), dressed with salad, hummus and tahini.

No matter your culinary preferences and what type of diet works best for you, there are so many food options that are both delicious and nutritious on menus across the Hilton portfolio. And because the Hilton Honors complimentary Daily F&B Credit gives you the flexibility to choose when and where you want to use it, it’s easy to make healthy choices and keep your New Year’s resolution on the go.
