Hilton Expands Multi‑Brand Footprint with New Dual‑Flag Hotel in Ogden, Utah

Introducing Home2 Suites Ogden and Tru by Hilton Ogden as a new lodging option for business and leisure travelers visiting the Ogden area

OGDEN, Utah - Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the opening of its newest hotel, the dual-branded Home2 Suites by Hilton Ogden and Tru by Hilton Ogden. Located near Ogden Eccles Convention Center and Union Station on Historic 25th Street, the property is a unique new addition to Ogden’s lodging offerings.

The multi-brand concept provides larger and enhanced communal areas and amenities than what would be standard at a standalone property, benefiting both business and leisure travelers. The hotel has a mix of unique offerings – each catering to the needs of their respective guests – including designated lobby and dining areas. The property also has a variety of shared amenities including a game-filled lobby with a pool table; 24-hour fitness centers; indoor saline pool and hot tub; and three outdoor patio areas with a firepit and grills. 

The four-story property, developed and owned by Garn Development and managed by Western States Lodging Management, is located at 2405 Lincoln Avenue, and boasts 155 rooms – 83 Tru by Hilton guest rooms and 72 Home2 Suites suite rooms. Conveniently situated in downtown Ogden, the hotel offers guests easy access to Historic 25th Street, local entertainment, restaurants and businesses.

As Home2 Suites by Hilton and Tru by Hilton respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, some services and amenities have been adjusted in order to adhere to health and safety guidance from local government. To emphasize our commitment to the health and safety of guests, the property is participating in the Hilton CleanStay Program with Lysol Protection to deliver an industry-defining standard of cleanliness and disinfection. Our elevated processes and Team Member training have been developed with RB, maker of Lysol and Dettol, to help guests enjoy an even cleaner and safer stay from check-in to check-out. New standards for Hilton CleanStay that have been rolled out include a Hilton CleanStay Room Seal to indicate that a room has not been accessed since being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, as well as flexible housekeeping options.
