Hilton Appoints Christoph Härle to Boost German Development Team

Industry veteran Härle brings over 30 years of hotel industry experience to new role focused on growth

FRANKFURT, Germany and MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announces the appointment of Christoph Härle as Senior Advisor, Development, in Germany to support the company’s robust growth in this key European market. Christoph brings unrivaled knowledge, experience and industry relationships to Hilton, following a 25-year career at JLL spanning both the Hotels and Global Capital Market teams in London, Frankfurt, New York and Munich, culminating with his role as CEO, EMEA Hotels & Hospitality. 

Christoph will work closely with Hilton’s regional leadership team to help accelerate the company’s strategic expansion in Germany, where Hilton has doubled the number of hotels open to 31 since 2016.

Hilton has a presence in every major German city, including 12 Hampton by Hilton and five Hilton Garden Inn hotels. There are six Hampton by Hilton hotels slated for opening in 2020, and by the close of 2023, the total German portfolio will increase to 42 properties, amounting to more than 10,000 rooms. Worldwide, Hilton operates properties across 17 brands offering nearly 6,000 properties and a global loyalty programme, Hilton Honors, which has 100 million members.
