SAN DIEGO - One of the most anticipated events of the winter season is back and celebrating its 30th year in February. Since 1989, San Diego Museum Month has given visitors and locals in San Diego a chance to discover what’s new at the city’s best museums. This month-long promotion has grown to become a cultural tradition unrivaled in the United States, with nearly 30,000 visitors using the pass to enjoy half-priced admission last year. San Diego Museum Month was created in 1989 to promote awareness of the region’s museums, historical sites, educational institutions and cultural offerings.
