ATLANTA - Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead is pleased to announce the launch of a new wellness retreat taking place at its Waldorf Astoria Spa, hosted in conjunction with two of Atlanta’s leading yoga and mindfulness experts. Launching on Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020, ‘THRIVE,’ the self-love retreat will focus on mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
Hosted by Lena Franklin, a Mindfulness-based Psychotherapist & International Wellness Teacher, and Christina Garrand, a Yoga Teacher & Energy Worker, participants are invited to a daylong meditation and yoga retreat offering a day of sacred self-care. Attendees will learn how to set and ignite meaningful intentions and move forward in manifesting the deepest desire for living, ultimately becoming the master of their own reality.
During the retreat, Christina Garrand will guide yoga sessions created to increase an inner sense of calm and clarity, preparing the body to receive the transformation of meditation. Concurrently, Lena Franklin will lead meditation sessions and teach meditation and mindset tools that empower the shedding of stress in exchange for personal presence, purpose and power. Together, Lena and Christina will teach the skills for each attendee to ‘THRIVE’ in their individual self-love practice, allowing them to return to their day-to-day life with the tools to sustain elevated levels of health, happiness and success.
Coupled with guided meditation and yoga, participants will also receive a journal to document their process and reflect on their experiences. Additionally, guests will enjoy a locally sourced healthy lunch curated by executive chef Christophe Truchet, and snacks and drinks will also be served to offer attendees energy and nourishment throughout the retreat.
Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead is distinguished by its 15,000-square-foot Waldorf Astoria Spa set over three levels which encompasses dedicated men’s and women’s facilities, 13 private treatment rooms, heat and wet areas, a 60-foot saline lap pool with access to a terrace overlooking the English Gardens, and an expansive fitness center with a private yoga studio that allows guests to connect to FitnessOnDemand to access fitness videos at their leisure.
