Hilton Ranked #3 Workplace in the World

Leading hospitality company recognized for workplace culture

MCLEAN, Va. - For the sixth year in a row, Hilton has been recognized for its exceptional workplace culture and named as one of the World’s Best Workplaces by Fortune magazine and Great Place to Work. Hilton ranked #3 on the list of the top 25 companies and remains the only hospitality company on the list. Hilton Team Members attribute the company’s culture, benefits, and inclusive environment as its foundation to being a great place to work.

“Our Hilton family has drawn on the culture we’ve built together to guide us through the most challenging period in our history,” said Chris Nassetta, president and CEO of Hilton.  “I am incredibly proud of the ways our Team Members have supported each other, served our guests and had a positive impact in our communities. This recognition is a true honor and a great reflection of the hard work and commitment our teams put forward to make Hilton a welcoming and inclusive workplace for all.”

Hilton aims to build a culture that supports Team Members at every step of their personal and professional journeys. The hospitality company also provides best-in-class benefits to both hourly and salaried Team Members, including expanded parental leaveadoption assistance, and extended bereavement leave. This summer, Hilton also launched a new campaign to increase support for Team Members’ mental wellness, focused on creating dialogue around the topic of mental health, providing Team Members with new tools and resources, and leaning on Hilton’s established culture of well-being.

“In order to be the most hospitable company in the world, we understand that our culture and our Team Members have to be at the heart of our business,” said Laura Fuentes, chief human resources officer, Hilton. “Our Team Members want to work in an inclusive and healthy environment and feel connected to something bigger than themselves.  When our Team Members can bring their authentic selves to work, we know they will welcome our guests with the same commitment to hospitality and service.”

In response to the pandemic, the company continues to address the challenges of the moment and identify new ways to increase flexibility at its properties and corporate offices. Its workplace programs are part of Thrive at Hilton, a Team Member value proposition that offers a flexible ecosystem of offerings combined with innovative learning, development, and volunteer opportunities. Hilton continues to measure Team Member sentiment through a series of pulse surveys introduced in the months following the pandemic’s start.

With a workforce spanning nearly 136,805 people across 119 countries and territories, this recognition is a result of positive feedback direct from Team Members. Hilton is honored to have been named #1 Best Workplace for Women in the U.S. In 2021, the company was also named the top place to work in Argentina, Canada, China, Germany, Turkey, and the U.K.
