Matthew W. Schuyler is the Chief Brand Officer for Hilton. He is responsible for positioning the company’s portfolio of 22 world-class brands across all 7,400 properties globally. In this role, Mr. Schuyler’s focus is to deliver reliable and friendly brand experiences that delight customers, differentiate Hilton, and increase returns for owners. His organization includes Hilton's brand leadership, performance support and owner services, product design, brand food & beverage, and the Hilton Supply Management organization.
Prior to this role, Mr. Schuyler served most recently as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer, leading Hilton’s global human resources organization. In his 14 years at Hilton, Mr. Schuyler has driven Hilton’s position as one of the world’s best workplaces, delivering recognition including #1 rankings for the company’s culture and diversity programs around the world.
Mr. Schuyler’s executive experience extends across diverse industries including financial services, technology, and professional services. He has served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Capital One, Senior Vice President of Human Resources with Cisco Systems, Inc. and as a Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Global Human Resources Group.
He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Penn State University. Mr. Schuyler serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Penn State.
